This is Quentin's Cubmaster car, although it has a sweet paint job that Quentin is rather proud of, it lost every race. (On purpose of course :) He was so worried that his car would beat one of the boys cars, he pounded the wheels together so they would rub. It never finished a race. The paint job that he is so proud of is a black coat of paint with metal flakes and a clear coat that gives off a green and gold sheen with the light.
Ezra and Aubree pretending this box is a car. It kept them busy for about an hour.

Since this year was our first pinewood derby, it was trial and error. Dylan's car came in third place a couple of times and in second place a few times. Overall his car didn't place. But we now have a pretty good idea how to make a winner for next year!
Dylan got an award for the "Hottest Car" (His car was named Firebird).

I love the cars and especially the awesome paint jobs! My niece just had her first Pinkwood Derby and she had a blast too!
