The End of Summer

Even though it's still HOT here in AZ, summer is coming to an end. School starts back next Monday and the kids are all getting back into a routine this week. For the kids this was a fun summer. The boys got to visit Oregon for three weeks. Dylan went to Scout camp, Quentin and the kids spent pioneer day weekend in Safford visiting family, enjoying the annual parade, BBQ and fireworks, and for the last week the kids enjoyed having their cousins Sarah, Zander and Wesely visit us.

A lack of pictures were taken this summer...

Above is the Gila Valley Arizona Temple.

A deer Quentin came across as he drove up to Scout camp.

The view from Mt. Graham.

Proof that there really are green beautiful places in Arizona.

A visit to Grandpa Blake's gravestone.

Cousins wrestling...bringing back fond memories from when Dylan and Zander were little and would wrestle each other. Those two were like peas in a pod...and still remain that way when they are together.

Beautiful pictures, Quentin. Wild times at the Blakes!! They look like everyone's having a fun time and I love how Sarah is "saving" Jonas. Thanks for posting. I'm sad to think Summer is ending. Oregon hasn't had many Summer days.
