Weekend in Safford

We went to Safford this weekend, and for those of you who don't know where Safford is, it is a small town approx. 2 1/2 hours east of Mesa. It is also the town that Quentin grew up in. We don't make it down to Safford too often, but we do have family there and we ventured down this weekend for Safford's pioneer day! We also brought with us the monsoon rains! We had quite the storm while we were there, canceling Safford's pioneer day parade, but the fireworks still were on! And a spectacular site there were too! Way better than Gilbert's 4th of July fireworks! The kids had fun running around in the rain, getting wet and muddy, especially Aubree! Here we are visiting Great Grandma Blake.
Ezra found some medical gloves and was trying to have someone blow it up while it was on his hand.
Aunt Patti was down visiting from Utah, and we enjoyed looking at pictures of her kids and grandchildren! They are so cute!
Aubree striking a pose for the camera!
Dylan relaxing at home after a tiring weekend!
